    Welcome to the Museum of Ontario Archaeology. We are dedited to connecting people to the stories of the human experience through time and place. It is our mission to share, interpret, and re for the archaeologil record to advance an understanding of Ontario’s Heritage.


    Upcoming Events

    The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is excited to announce our 2nd annual Heritage Svenger Hunt!
    Looking for something to do this summer? Why not get outdoors and explore London’s rich Heritage and Archeologil sites! This event will run from August 26 to September 5th. Participants will take part in an outdoor adventure around London exploring 10 archeologil heritage sites. At each lotion, they’ll complete missions to learn more about the signifince of the site. 

    To join the adventure, registrants 12 and up will pay a $5.00 participation fee. Registration is free for participants under 12.

    With the success of our virtual Natural Clay Pottery Course last year, the MOA is excited to announce our partnership with FUSION: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association and The London Clay Art Centre to offer this course again!
    Thanks to our hybrid delivery option, this course is available to anyone who has an interest in learning more about creating natural clay pottery, regardless of lotion! Last year we had many virtual participants from across nada, the United States, and even overseas!


    We are excited to announce that we will be going ahead with in-person on-site summer day mp!
    Our mps will be available for mpers ages 8 to 12 (must be turning 8 by the end of the year). This year, we will not be offering registration for single days, only by the week.

    mp will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. Drop off for mp will be 8:45am-9:00am with mp starting at 9:00 and the pick-up time will be from 4:00pm-4:15pm.

    Enrolment is limited, so make sure to register early!

    The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is seeking an intern interested in developing their collections management, professional communitions and visitor engagement skills as a Museum Collections Interpreter responsible for assisting with maintaining collections and developing interpretive materials to share with public audiences. The intern will be familiar with archaeology and the material heritage of Ontario and excited about ring for museum collections, managing information and communiting knowledge with students, visitors, heritage specialists and descendant communities.


    We are currently offering Walk-Ins and Pre-Booked Tours
    Tours run Tuesdays to Saturdays at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM respectively.

    Drop-In Prices:

    • Adult $6;
    • Senior/Student $5;
    • Child $4;
    • Family (up to 5) $15. 

    We are still offering our pre-registered tours for those who want a guided tour and/or partake in one of our many post-tour activities!

    Visitors may pre-book guided tours at least 24 hours in advance. We have a few different tour options available for our pre-booked tours including a general guided tour and our popular tours and activities.

    These tours are available Mondays to Fridays at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM*. Pre-booking is required and n be done through the inquiry form below or by contacting info@.

    *Our 3 PM time slot is not available for the tours and activities option.
